The El Paso Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Sunday and confirmed that one person died.
Around Sunday night the crash happened at I-10 East near Redd Road. Ruben Garfio was driving Eastbound at a high rate of speed when he veered off the road and struck a large cement pillar. The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash.
