24-Year-Old Otavius Demond Rose Killed In A Hit-And-Run Crash In Terrell (Terrell, TX)

A tragic incident unfolded in Terrell early Sunday morning, resulting in the death of a 24-year-old man identified as Otavius Demond Rose. According to Terrell police, the incident occurred in the 200 block of westbound Interstate 20.

Reports indicated that officials received calls from drivers on I-20 around 12:40 a.m. reporting a person standing in the roadway. Before officers arrived, another call came in from a driver who claimed to have struck the individual.

Upon reaching the scene, Terrell police found Rose with apparent major injuries. He was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was then transferred to the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation, and it remains unclear if the driver who struck Rose will face any charges. Confirmation is pending from the authorities.
