24-Year-Old Man Was Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Collision In Redwood City (Redwood City, CA)

According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle collision that took place in Palo Alto killed a 24-year-old man on Sunday.

At about 1:15 a.m., four vehicles were involved in the collision in the Northbound lanes of the Freeway at San Antonio Road. The 24-year-old man driving a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro northbound was first struck at the rear end by a 2018 Mazda CX-5 and later by a 2019 Honda Accord and a 2019 Nissan Altima. 

As a result of this series of collisions, the man was pronounced dead at the moment. The driver of the Mazda escaped the scene before the officers arrived.

The identity of the man is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated.
