The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office reported a multi-vehicle accident on Thursday.
The accident occurred on Military Driver West and Woodgate Driver near Marbach Road at around 12:50 a.m.
According to the officials, a man was speeding on Military Drive when he was pulled over. He had drugs in his vehicle and when the officers asked him to step out, he did not comply and took off instead.
The car then crashed into a utility pole and the driver was ejected from the car into the driver’s side door of a U-Haul truck. He died on impact.
The identity of this deceased has not been disclosed.
It is not yet known if the driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the fatal accident.
There are no other details available at this time.
