According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, a fatal crash was reported in San Bernardino. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the hit-and-run accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred on Chamberlaine Way, near the intersection of US Highway 395 in Adelanto. A 24-year-old man was struck by a vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene of the collision. The man was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. Insights into the identity of the deceased person are yet to be released.
The cause of the collision is pending determination. The crash continues to be investigated by the SBCSD.
