The Texas Department Of Public Safety reported a multi-vehicle accident that occurred on Sunday. The officials confirmed that one person died in the accident. According to the officials, the deceased victim was identified as 24-year-old Johnny Rey Hernandez.
Around 5:00 a.m., the crash happened in a Scurry County crash just north of Snyder. A vehicle was headed north on Highway 84 when he lost control and crashed into a road sign. The car rolled and caught on fire.
The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
