The Burbank Police Department reported a multi-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a woman on Tuesday.
At around 2:15 p.m., a Dodge Challenger was driving at a high speed at the Burbank intersection, at Victoria and Magnolia Boulevards. It struck a Black SUV Nissan, and then a Curb, a traffic pole, and a power pole, near the northeast side of the intersection.
The female passenger of the Dodge, Evonnie Nicole Caceres of Saugus was killed as a result of the crash even after being taken to the hospital.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
