The Wichita Falls Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident on Wednesday. The officials confirmed that one person died in the accident. According to the officials, the deceased victim was identified as 24-year-old Caleb McWhorter.
After 6 p.m., the crash happened at the 3400 block of Arena Road. The vehicles involved in the crash were a 2023 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle and a 2021 Ford F-250 pickup truck.
The motorcycle was northbound on Arena Road at a high rate of speed. The driver of the pickup truck pulled out of his driveway onto Arena Road, where the motorcycle struck the pickup truck. Caleb was thrown from the motorcycle. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured. The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
