The Chandler Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Saturday afternoon. The accident happened close to Warner Road and Arizona Avenue at 1:45 p.m.
According to the CPD, Mesa resident, Xavier J. Rodriguez, 23 was riding his motorbike east on Warner Road when he collided with a trailer being pulled by a pickup truck that was making a left turn.
Rodriguez passed away at the scene as a result of the collision’s injuries. It is not yet known if the driver of the trailer was injured in the collision.
The fatal crash is still under investigation by Chandler police, who do not believe that intoxication played a role in this incident. No other details are available currently.
