23-Year-Old Woman Critically Injured In A Multi-Vehicle Accident Near Allyn (Mason County, WA)

The Washington State Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on Thursday. 

The accident occurred on Highway 3, near Homestead Drive at around 8:08 a.m. 

According to the officials, a woman was driving out of a driveway onto Highway 3 when she struck a passing pickup truck. 

The woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with critical injuries. 

There was a child present in the car with her who was also taken to the hospital as a precaution. 

The woman had been driving a 2016 Honda Civic and she had crashed into a 2005 Ford F-150. The driver of the Ford, a 19-year-old boy, was unharmed in the accident.

The authorities are still investigating the crash. 

It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
