In a tragic multi-vehicle accident on Wednesday afternoon, Nacogdoches Police identified the victim of a fatal vehicle wreck as 23-year-old Timothy Embargo from Nacogdoches.
The preliminary investigation reveals that Embargo was driving westbound on the 3700 block of Northeast Stallings Drive when he tragically crossed into the eastbound lanes. This resulted in a collision with a Ford F-750 traveling in the opposite direction. Regrettably, Embargo was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The occupants of the Ford, both the driver and the passenger, sustained minor injuries and were transported for treatment by EMS. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this fatal crash.
