In a tragic motor vehicle accident on Sunday morning in Stockton, a 23-year-old man lost his life, as confirmed by the Stockton Police Department.
A single vehicle was involved in the crash. Officers responded to the scene at Pershing Avenue and Brookside Road around 3:32 a.m. The vehicle was headed down the road when the driver lost control and crashed into a tree.
The driver was fatally injured and was pronounced dead. The identity of the man has not been disclosed. Three other occupants in the vehicle suffered injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
