The Washington State Patrol reported a multi-vehicle accident in Franklin County on Thursday. The accident occurred on 395 and Vineyard Roads at around 2:00 p.m.
According to the officials, two vehicles were involved in the collision. A vehicle was headed west on Vineyard Drive while the second vehicle was headed north on the highway. The driver of the first vehicle failed to yield to the second vehicle which caused them to crash.
The driver of the first vehicle was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. However, The driver of the second vehicle was taken to a hospital for treatment. The officials have since identified the deceased victim as 23-year-old Luis Acosta Hernandez.
The fatal crash is still being investigated at this time. There are no other details available.
