The Santa Fe Police Department is reaching out for information regarding a fatal crash that occurred at night. Responding to a single motor vehicle crash on the West Frontage Road and Avenida Sonrisa, authorities discovered the lifeless body of a 23-year-old woman, later identified as Betzaira Rudi Pinon-Gonzalez of Santa Fe.
The vehicle Pinon-Gonzalez occupied was heading westbound on the West Frontage Road when it rolled over multiple times. Another occupant was critically injured and was transported to a local hospital. Traffic investigators are specifically seeking assistance from the driver of a white Jeep Cherokee who may have witnessed the crash.
As the investigation unfolds, the community is urged to come forward with any relevant information to aid in understanding the circumstances surrounding this tragic motor vehicle accident.
