In an overnight tragedy near Folsom Lake, a young man has lost his life in a fatal crash. The incident occurred shortly after midnight on Tuesday, along Green Valley Road, just east of Sophia Parkway.
Upon reaching the scene, officers discovered a severely damaged vehicle off the road. The driver, identified as 23-year-old Ahmad Noori, was swiftly transported to Sutter Roseville Medical Center as he was critically injured. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The California Highway Patrol is thoroughly investigating the circumstances surrounding the motor vehicle collision. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
