The Louisiana State Police are investigating a fatal crash on LA Highway 1054 near Clements Road in Tangipahoa Parish.
The victim was identified as 22-year-old Triston Pennington from Loranger, who died in the one-vehicle fatal crash.
A preliminary report revealed Pennington, in his 2009 Toyota Yaris, was travelling southbound on LA Highway 1054. The vehicle veered off the road for unknown reasons and struck a cement culvert.
Pennington sustained fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced deceased on the scene.
The toxicology sample was collected from the driver for further investigations.
The crash is under review.
No additional information regarding the crash was provided by the LSP.
