The Seguin Police Department reported a multi-vehicle accident on Friday night. The fatal crash occurred at the intersection of State Highway 123 S. and State Highway 46.
The multi-vehicle accident transpired just before 10 p.m. on Friday. A Honda CBR 6000RR collided with a Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The events leading up to the collision are not entirely clear at this time.
The motorcyclist was critically injured. Despite being rushed to a local hospital by Seguin EMS, he was later pronounced dead. The officials have since identified the victim as 22-year-old Trenton Gary Phillips.
The pickup truck driver emerged unscathed. The investigation into the multi-vehicle accident remains ongoing.
