22-Year-Old Man Killed In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Vancouver (Vancouver, WA)

The Vancouver Police Department is investigating a tragic single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a 22-year-old man, marking the fifth fatal crash the department has responded to this year.

The incident occurred shortly before 10 p.m. on Saturday on North Andresen Road, just north of 63rd Street. The driver, who remains unidentified, was pronounced dead at the scene. Initial investigations suggest that the SUV, traveling northbound, failed to negotiate a curve, hit the curb, and then crashed into trees after rolling along the embankment.

Police have identified speed as a contributing factor in the crash. The Vancouver Police Department Traffic Unit is leading the ongoing investigation.
