The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle crash that killed 22-year-old Lorenzo Serrano in Carrolton on Monday. The accident occurred on Lone Tree Road at around 4:00 a.m.
According to the officials, two vehicles were involved in a collision. A 42-year-old man driving a Sterling Feed truck crashed into a 2014 Honda Accord that was travelling westbound. The driver of the Honda, identified as Lorenzo Serrano was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
