According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a fatal crash was reported on Wednesday in Nolan County. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motor vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred on the north service road of I-20, at milepost 240. The driver of a Rav4 drove off the roadway, and into a south barrow ditch. As a result of this, the car collided with a concrete culvert which made the car go airborne.
Subsequently, the car struck a stop sign and rolled over many times. The driver of the car was identified as 22-year-old Andrew William Luna. Luna was pronounced dead when transported to the hospital.
The cause of the collision is pending determination. The crash continues to be investigated by the TDPS.
