The California Highway Patrol stated that a 21-year-old man, identified as Tommy Vaca, was killed in a motor vehicle crash in Lake Elsinore on Thursday.
According to the officials, a single vehicle was involved in the collision. At around 12:20 p.m., Tommy Vaca driving his vehicle when he lost control. This led to him striking a tree and then a fire hydrant. Vaca was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
