According to the Wichita Falls Police Department, a motor vehicle accident was reported on Sunday.
The officials stated that the crash happened at around 2 a.m. in the 800 block of north Central Freeway when 21-year-old Mohammed Al-Abdullah, the driver of a Nissan Altima crashed into a Chevrolet Malibu driven by a 23-year-old woman.
The officials stated that Mohammed was declared dead at the scene.
The 23-year-old woman was rushed to the United Regional Health Care System with critical injuries. Later she was airlifted for further medical assistance.
The officials are investigating the crash to determine whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
The identity of the woman is awaited by the police.
