The Texas Department of Public Safety reported a multi-vehicle accident that occurred on Saturday. The officials confirmed that one person died in the accident. According to the officials, the deceased victim was identified as 21-year-old Mayra Noemi Guevara.
Around 9:35 pm., the crash happened at the intersection of FM 466 and FM 477 near Schneider Road. The driver of a 2017 Chevy Silverado failed to stop at a stop sign while travelling south on FM 466. This caused it to crash into a Chevy Equinox that was heading east on FM 477.
The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
