The California Highway Patrol reported that a motor vehicle head collision took place in Salinas killing two male drivers as a result.
On Halloween night, roughly at 11:52 p.m., a maroon Chrysler was travelling eastbound in the westbound lane of Blanco Road. It then lost control and collided with a Honda.
The 21-year-old driver of the Honda and the 30-year-old driver of the Chrysler were fatally injured and were pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
