According to the California Highway Patrol, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Castaic on Saturday. The crash happened in the 5 Freeway crash at around 2:50 a.m.
According to the investigators, a Ford and an unknown 21-year-old were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the 21-year-old was walking in an unknown direction and was struck by a Ford.
According to the reports, the 21-year-old suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Castaic Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
The accident is still being investigated. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
