According to the Michigan State Police, a fatal crash was reported on Friday in Detroit.
Officials confirmed that one person died due to the accident.
Authorities confirmed that the collision occurred on I-75 near I-96.
A driver lost control of the vehicle and this resulted in the vehicle rolling over.
Both the driver and the passenger were ejected from the car.
The 21-year-old passenger was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.
The driver of the vehicle sustained non life threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital.
The crash remains under investigation by the MSP.
