21-Year-Old Gemma P. Davis Killed In A Motor Vehicle Accident In Whatcom County (Whatcom County, WA)

Tragedy struck in Whatcom County as a 21-year-old woman, identified as Gemma P. Davis of Sequim lost her life in a single-vehicle collision. The accident occurred on Mount Baker Highway near Cornell Creek Road.

The motor vehicle accident occurred around 11:30 p.m. when Davis, heading east, veered into the shoulder and overcorrected. This caused the vehicle to roll over. Unfortunately, Davis was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected during the rollover. 

She was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The 1991 Toyota Corolla came to a rest in the roadway, blocking both lanes for approximately five hours. The investigation into the fatal crash is ongoing, and Sequim police have notified Davis’s next of kin.
