The Texas Department of Public Safety reported a motor vehicle accident on FM 2249, milepost 96, around 6:30 a.m. The driver, identified as 21-year-old Enrique Eduardo Gonzalez, belonged to Dell City.
According to the officials, Gonzalez was driving a 2004 Ford Ranger headed eastbound on FM 2249 near mile marker 96. He veered off the roadway, causing the vehicle to roll over. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.
Gonzalez was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. It is not known if alcohol or drugs played a role in this collision. There are no other details available at this time.
