21-Year-Old Cody William Duncan-Olivas Killed In A Motor Vehicle Accident In Tucson (Tucson, AZ)

A tragic motor vehicle accident unfolded early Sunday morning, February 11, near Broadway Blvd. and south Harrison Road, as revealed by the Tucson Police Department. The crash, occurring just after midnight, resulted in the death of 21-year-old Cody William Duncan-Olivas. 

He was found fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. According to police detectives, Duncan-Olivas was traveling north on South Harrison Road at a high speed when he lost control of his vehicle, colliding with a metal power pole.

Excessive speed and failure to adjust speed to avoid a collision are identified as primary factors in the crash. Detectives also attributed wet road conditions and poor tire tread to contributing to the collision. The investigation into the fatal crash continues as authorities seek to understand the circumstances leading to this tragic outcome.
