The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department identified the victim of the motor vehicle crash that took place in Jurupa Valley. The victim was 21-year-old Brandon Oton.
According to the officials, a single vehicle was involved in the crash. At around 11:05 p.m., Brandon Oton was driving his vehicle on Riverview Drive and 42nd Street. He lost control and struck a tree and a power pole. Oton was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
