The Clovis Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident on Wednesday. The accident occurred at Sylmar Avenue and Nees Avenue at around noon.
According to the officials, a motorcycle and a vehicle were involved in a collision. The events leading up to the crash are not entirely clear at this time.
The motorcyclist was critically injured and rushed to a local hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead. The officials have identified her as 20-year-old Zein Al-Zoubi.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
