The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle accident on Thursday. The accident occurred on Pine Creek Road, east of Deer Park Road at around 9:25 p.m.
According to the officials, a Jeep Wrangler was heading west on Pine Creek Road when it overturned after failing to negotiate a curve in the road.
The driver was thrown from the vehicle and incurred fatal injuries. He was later pronounced dead at the scene. There were four other people present in the car and they were all injured but none of them were killed. The identities of the victims have not been disclosed at this time. They were all identified only as men in their 20s.
The fatal accident is still being investigated at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. There are no other details available at this time.
