20-year-old Elizabeth Solis dead after a wrong-way crash in Seguin (Seguin, TX)

20-year-old Elizabeth Solis lost her life while two people suffered critical injuries following a two-vehicle collision on Sunday in Seguin.

As per the initial information, the fatal car crash took place at about 3:10 a.m. in the 1200 block of W Kingsbury. The preliminary investigation indicated that a 52-year-old woman was driving her Jeep Liberty westbound on the eastbound lanes of W. Kingsbury when the car crashed head-on into a Mitsubishi Outlander.

On arrival, emergency crews rushed the driver of the Mitsubishi Outlander, a 22-year-old man, to hospital in Kyle, with critical injuries. On the other hand, the passenger of the Outlander, 20-year-old Elizabeth Solis, was airlifted to a hospital in San Antonio, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

The wrong-way driver was transported to a hospital in Kyle with critical injuries. The woman informed the officers that she had consumed multiple alcoholic beverages before driving. No additional information has been provided.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
