20-Year-Old Brody Thompson Killed In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Pontiac (Pontiac, MI)

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash that killed a man and injured a young female in Pontiac Sunday morning.

The crash happened on northbound Woodward Avenue near Osmun Street around 1:45 a.m. 

The victim who died in the crash was identified as Brody Thompson, 20, of Brown City, Michigan.

The 18-year-old female was also injured in the crash but is now reported to be in stable condition. 

Authorities say Thompson left the road after hitting a curb after failing to negotiate the curve while driving a 2010 Audi A5. The car reentered southbound Woodward before overturning and crashing into a yard.

According to the Authorities, Thompson was not wearing a seatbelt and was partially ejected. He died at the scene.

The female passenger was also not wearing a seatbelt. 

The crash is under investigation.
