The Washington State Patrol reported a motor vehicle accident in Spokane Valley on Saturday. The accident occurred on State Route 27 and the time of the accident is not known.
According to the officials, a motorcycle was headed south on State Route 27 from Sprague Avenue at the same time as a car that was crossing through the intersection of 8th Avenue and the highway.
The motorcycle crashed into the driver’s side of the car which kept going through the intersection and then crashed into a building. The motorcycle came to a rest in the northbound left lane.
The driver of the motorcycle was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. He has since been identified as 20-year-old Beau Pierre. The driver of the car was taken to a hospital for his injuries.
The officials have reported that speeding was the cause of the fatal crash.
