A 20-year-old man, identified as Angel Zamora of Perris, tragically lost his life early Saturday morning after a single-vehicle rollover collision. The motor vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Indian and Placentia Avenues shortly before 1 a.m.
The preliminary investigation indicates that Zamora was performing “donuts” with his 2023 Jeep Rubicon when he lost control. This caused the vehicle to roll over onto its roof.
Despite deputies’ life-saving efforts, Zamora was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The intersection was temporarily closed for processing the scene and collecting evidence. It remains unclear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the fatal crash.
