According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Nacogdoches County on Wednesday. The crash happened on Farm-to-Market 1638.
According to the investigators, a 2014 Volkswagen Passat and a 2021 Cadillac Escalade were involved in the collision. The driver of the Cadillac traveling southbound turned left to avoid a collision but struck the Volkswagen.
A 2-year-old Kid was identified as the passenger of the Volkswagen who suffered significant injuries and was rushed to the hospital. The Nacogdoches County Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased kid.
The accident is still being investigated by the authorities. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. Additional information regarding the fatal crash is not available currently.
