A heartbreaking incident in Northern California has left a community grappling with the tragic death of a 2-year-old toddler, Ailahni Sanchez Martinez. The toddler was struck by a truck at a gas station, with authorities revealing that a 3-year-old child was behind the wheel of the vehicle at the time of the accident.
According to the Woodland Police Department, the crash occurred when a driver parked his truck at the gas station and left it running with a 3-year-old inside. The child somehow got out of their safety seat and accidentally set the vehicle in motion, leading to the collision with Ailahni.
No charges have been filed at this time. The crash is still being invstigated by the authorities.
