According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Corona on Monday. The crash happened on the eastbound 91, just east of Interstate 15 at around 4 p.m.
According to the investigators, a 2019 Honda Accord and a Toyota Corolla were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the Honda driver was driving in the wrong way and struck a Toyota head-on.
According to the deputies, two unknown women suffered significant injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene. The Corona Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased people.
The accident is still being investigated. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. Additional information regarding the fatal crash is not available currently.
