Ottawa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash that injured two teens on Sunday morning.
The driver, identified as a 15-year-old boy from Hudsonville, was taken to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital via an Aero Med helicopter. The passenger, a 14-year-old girl from Jenison, was transported to an area hospital.
According to the officials, the vehicle driving at a high rate of speed crashed into a tree.
No further information regarding the crash is currently available.
It is unclear if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash. An investigation into the crash is under review.
