According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a fatal crash was reported on Sunday morning in Sedona. Officials confirmed that two people died due to the motor vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred on State Route 179. Two vehicles struck one another. The officials have not disclosed any details regarding the vehicles involved.
As a result of this, the drivers of both vehicles were pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. A passenger who sustained minor injuries was transported via ambulance to Verde Valley.
The cause of the accident is yet to be determined. The crash continues to be investigated by the ADPS.
