According to the Cypress Police Department, a fatal crash was reported on Saturday. Officials confirmed that two people died and one person was injured due to the motor vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred at the intersection of Walker Street and Orange Avenue. A Tesla SUV and Ford Flex collided with one another and resulted in the wreck.
The driver of the Tesla and a passenger were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The driver of the Flex was transported to UCI Medical Center with severe injuries.
Other details pertaining to the collision remain unknown. It is not yet known whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. The crash continues to be investigated by the CPD.
