The Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Bristol Highway in Johnson City on Thursday afternoon.
According to a Johnson City Police Department spokesperson, the crash was a head-on collision. Officers arrived on the scene at 12:57 p.m.
The crash involved a pickup truck and utility vehicle.
The investigators confirmed that both pickup truck and utility vehicle drivers were injured in the crash.
It is unclear what caused the crash and if alcohol was a factor.
The victims were taken to Johnson City Medical Center following the crash near several car dealerships.
The identity of the victims are not yet known.
The crash is being investigated by the officials.
