2 Person Hospitalized Following A Car Crash In Blendon Township (Blendon Township, MI)

Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a car crash that led to the hospitalization of two.

The crash happened on Fillmore Street and 72nd Avenue in Blendon Township at around 3:10 p.m. Friday.

Responding deputies learned that a 78-year-old Grand Haven man was driving a car north on 72nd Avenue. He failed to yield to an eastbound SUV as he crossed Fillmore Street.

He was taken to the hospital along with his passenger, a 75-year-old Grand Haven woman. According to the authorities, their injuries are non-life-threatening. 

The SUV driver, a 32-year-old Grand Rapids woman, refused medical help.

No additional information regarding the crash is currently available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
