On Sunday, Georgia State Patrol responded to a single-vehicle crash on State Route 365 in Hall County. The crash happened on SR-365 just north of Sulphur road.
According to investigators, the Kia Optima drove off the road and hit a guardrail while driving north on the highway. After striking the highway guardrail on the driver’s side, the vehicle collided with multiple trees before coming to a rest, troopers said.
Upon the arrival of the troopers, both the driver and the passenger were found dead in the vehicle.
SR-365 northbound lane was shut down following the crash and has since reopened. The crash remains under investigation.
