2 People Killed In A Pedestrian Accident In Hudspeth County (Hudspeth County, TX)

Tragedy struck on Wednesday, March 6, in Hudspeth County, Texas, as two individuals were struck and killed while crossing the state highway, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).

The pedestrian accident occurred on US 62/180 at mile marker 92. As a result, all lanes on US 62/180 are currently closed, with TxDOT reporting closures until further notice.

Eastbound traffic is directed to exit at Route 1111 to Sierra Blanca, while westbound traffic is instructed to exit at US-54 to Van Horn. No additional information has been released regarding the victims or the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident. The closure and clearing of the highway are ongoing as authorities continue their investigation into the fatal crash.
