According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle crash that took place in Miramar on Saturday claimed the lives of two people.
At around 2:45 a.m., a Honda Civic travelling north on I-5 hit a Toyota and a Chevrolet on Interstate 15, north of Miramar Way. As a result of this multi-vehicle collision, two people in the Honda were fatally injured and were pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
