According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Van Zandt County on Tuesday afternoon.
The crash happened on State Highway 64.
According to the Police, a 2005 Pontiac G6 and a 2020 Ford F-150 were involved in the collision.
42-year-old Ricky D Daniel was identified as the driver of the Pontiac who suffered major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ford was identified as 89-year-old Thelbert L. Thompson also suffered major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
