The Texas Department of Public Safety reported a tragic crash that occurred near North Northeast Loop 323 and American Legion Road on Wednesday. The collision claimed the lives of two individuals.
According to the officials, the incident involved a semi-truck. Sgt. Adam Albritton of the Texas Department of Public Safety reported that traffic diversions to Highway 271 are in effect until the scene is cleared. At least two people were fatally injured and were pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the victims has not been released at this time. The circumstances leading to the multi-vehicle accident remain under investigation. Authorities are working to understand the details of the fatal crash.
