The Longview Police Department reported a multi-vehicle accident on Thursday. The accident occurred in the 3600 block of Judson Road at around 8:05 p.m.
According to the officials, the crash involved a Ford pickup and a Mazda. The Ford was headed north on Judson Road and approaching the intersection of North Spur 63. The Mazda was headed south and attempted to turn left onto Hill Street.
This caused the Mazda to get into the path of the Ford pickup. The two vehicles collided. The force of the collision caused the Mazda to veer off the road and crash into another vehicle.
The driver and passenger present in the Mazda were rushed to a local hospital with critical injuries. They succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced dead. The identity of the deceased victims is not yet known at this time.
The fatal crash is still being investigated.
